Alberto discovered this years ago, when he fell in love with bicycle touring — and with the joy of sharing the ride. After countless miles across Europe with his wife Lella on a tandem, he began designing and building bikes to bring that experience to others.

That’s how Alef was born: handcrafted tandems, built one by one in his workshop, to take more people farther — together.
